Owners of Mark Motors, Mark and Patti Olinyk, have always been proud supporters of quality charitable organizations, like Opportunity Development Centers, Inc. (ODC).
This past month a donation of $5,500 was made to ODC with some assistance from Toyota's Dealer Match Program, Wisconsin Automobile and Truck Dealers Foundation in conjunction with Mark Motors.
Toyota's Dealer Match program allows dealers to nominate their favorite charitable organizations. Once approved Toyota will match the donation made by the dealer. In this case, both Toyota and Mark Motors donated $2,500 for a total of $5,000. In addition, the Wisconsin Automobile & Truck Dealers also gave a donation of $500 to help support ODC.
The funds donated will help purchase equipment and adaptive devices that will enable people with more significant disabilities to more fully participate in a project that includes assembly and packaging in the ODC Wisconsin Rapids location.
Annually, ODC serves approximately 600 individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment. ODC recognizes that there is a growing need for their services and programming that is provided within the Wisconsin Rapids and Marshfield communities where they have facilities and programs that have been in place since 1965.
