While the Toyota Prius has performed well in terms of sales, we can admit that it doesn't exactly scream performance in a literal sense. But, the good people at our favorite Japanese automaker are looking to change that with the introduction of the first ever Toyota Prius PLUS Performance accessory package. That's right, soon the Prius will able to rock components from Toyota Racing Developent's new PLUS hybrid performance line.
We here at Mark Toyota think that this is a fantastic idea. It opens up the Prius to a new demographic that may not have considered the Prius before. Toyota described it saying, "PLUS is an evolution of hybrid design, where fuel-efficiency co-exists with aggressive styling and performance handling."1
Toyota promises that each of the package's accessories will embody their core values of Eco and Advanced technology. Basically, this means that the Toyota Prius PLUS Performance will remain a fuel efficient option while gaining a sporty edge that is usually not found in such a vehicle. This is one Prius variant that we would love to show off on our lot at 1765 Park Ave Plover, WI 54467. It packs a sporty punch, but not too much of one.
