Recently Toyota has launched a new advertising campaign that highlights their position as the best-selling automotive retail brand in America. They are calling it the "#1 For a Reason" campaign. In seeing it, you'll quickly remember why Toyota continues to be consumer's top choice when buying a new vehicle.

"For three consecutive years, people have purchased more Toyota vehicles than any other brand," says Bob Carter, Group Vice President and General Manager, Toyota Division for Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. "We look forward to maintaining this momentum in 2011 as we continue to focus on fuel efficiency, value, quality, and safety."1

Toyota credits their success to being an auto maker offering something for everyone. Among the top models are the Toyota Camry and Toyota Corolla. The Toyota Camry is the number-one selling car in America and has retained its sales leadership for nine consecutive years. And, over 90 percent sold over the past 15 years are still on the road today! The Toyota Corolla midsize sedan, on the other hand, holds the title of the best-selling car of all time and was named an IIHS Top Safety Pick for 2011.

Along with the Toyota Corolla, four other Toyota vehicles were also named Top Safety Picks for 2011, by the IIHS. They are the Avalon, Venza, Highlander, and Sienna. Each model comes standard with the advanced safety features of the STAR Safety System.

While safety is obviously a priority and comes first for Toyota, the company is also an expert in fuel efficiency. Toyota produces the best-selling hybrid in the world, the Toyota Prius, which delivers an average of 50 miles per gallon.

And we can't forget about the best-selling Tacoma, Tundra,  and 4Runner. All were named Best Overall Value in their respective segments, by IntelliChoice To find out more about why Toyota is "#1 For a Reason", stop by  Mark Toyota in Plover, WI.
