The Toyota Camry is an American-made car? That's right, ladies and gentlemen, the Toyota Camry is as American-made of a vehicle as you can get today. We say this because it features a higher amount of domestic parts than any other vehicle, even those from the likes of the big Detroit three. And, it isn't just us saying it either. That's according to data from the federal government's yearly analysis of U.S./Canadian Parts-content.

Of course, it isn't just the government that is making this claim about the Camry. As it stands, only eight percent of the Camry's parts come from overseas. The remaining 92 percent of the parts are made right here in the U.S.
But, while the fed's content index doesn't take into account the vehicles country of origin, we thought we'd point out the fact that the gas-powered four-cylinder and V6 2012 Toyota Camry models are produced in the U.S. as well.
