Last month it certainly seemed like more visitors than usual were streaming in to our showroom to check out the current lineup of new Toyota vehicles, and apparently we weren't alone. The sales reports from November have just come in and we are very pleased to say that Toyota was once again the industry's best-selling brand by moving a total of 152,433 new Toyota vehicles.

With the holiday season just beginning, this clearly shows that Toyota is getting off on the right foot. It appears that more and more American drivers are beginning to see the value in the reliability and efficiency of Toyota cars, trucks and SUVs.

Many vehicles in the lineup had outstanding sales months on their own. The flagship Avalon had triple-digit increases in sales for the ninth consecutive month. The just-released 2014 Toyota RAV4 impressed critics as well, with its own sales growing by 57 percent compared to November 2012. This year's Camry continued to storm the segment, outselling the competition to take the top spot in its category, and the Corolla was able to move 22,434 units as well.

Toyota Division Group Vice President and General Manager, Bill Fay, spoke about the record-setting sales figures, saying, "Industry sales in November picked up after Thanksgiving, contributing to the best sales pace of the year. Showroom traffic surged over the holiday weekend for Toyota, indicating good momentum that we expect to continue through the end of the year and into 2014."1
