Eco-friendly is the first thing that comes to mind when talking about the Prius. Toyota wants to make sure consumers are fully aware of its pinnacle hybrid's capabilities. They are also involving local charity organizations in there new Prius Plug-in Challenge.

Taking place in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, Toyota is loaning local charitable organizations a new Toyota Prius Plug-in. The rules of the event aren't too difficult. You must drive a minimum of 500 miles, which equates to 75 miles a week, and obtain the best overall fuel rating. Knowing how much time and effort goes in to helping others, we're sure each group will have no problem hitting the 500 mile mark. Hitting the second goal will definitely reap some benefits. First place will win a $2,500 donation. Second and third place will get $1,000 and $500, respectively for their hard work.

At Mark Toyota, we wouldn't be too surprised if the new Prius Plug-in averaged above the EPA scores it already gets. After all, it's happened before and is also very dependent on driving habits.
