Toyota announced last year plans for the innovative fuel cell vehicle which would be arriving sometime in the next year and would require no gasoline to run. Now the future has arrived. At the Consumer Electronics Show, the Mirai was put on display and event goers were able to see the science behind the amazing new vehicle.

Much in the same way the Toyota Prius changed the way we looked at hybrid technology, the Mirai is changing our perceptions of hydrogen power. We can now see a glimpse of the future and what it will look like in the automotive world.

We think other car makers will be following this example of sustainable cars with their own models, much in the same way they did with the Prius. We look forward to seeing more from the CES, and from the Mirai even though it isn't available in the States just yet. Are you thinking of purchasing a hydrogen-powered vehicle when it is available? Watch this video and see just what it takes to power the future.
