Did you know that Toyota makes some of the most born-and-bred American vehicles on the market today? It's true!

The 2016 Toyota Camry was named, for the sixth time, the most American-made car on the Cars.com American-Made Index. It is manufactured in Kentucky, where many of its parts are made, and it supports more full-time manufacturing positions than any other model in the United States.

Manufacturing is only one part of the process of creating a new car, however. Design and engineering is equally important -- and those jobs are done here in the states, too.

The production design for the 2015 Camry came out of Calty Design Research, Inc. in Ann Arbor. In fact, many of our most popular new Toyota models for sale in Plover were designed at Calty in Michigan and California, engineered at Toyota Technical Center in Michigan, and built at one of Toyota's ten domestic manufacturing plants.
