It is with much excitement that Toyota announced new projects that are coming to the U.S.! There will be five different facilities in various locations that will construct hybrid powertrains for Toyota hybrid vehicles. The plan is to have the facilities operating by 2020, and two of the locations will include Kentucky, as well as West Virginia. The engines that will get constructed in these facilities will get incorporated into the manufacturing of the Toyota hybrid vehicles in North America. What else is going to get built with these projects? There will also be the engineering of parts like hybrid transaxles and 2.5-liter cylinder heads.
