The Smart Key System allows you to unlock and start your vehicle with the push of a button on the key fob. The key fob also enables you to lock, unlock, or open the doors from outside of your vehicle.
The trunk lid can be opened by pushing a button once on each side of the smart key. If you are using a Toyota Passport and have an option package that includes hands-free power lift gate functionality for opening and closing your trunk lid remotely, press this button twice in order to open/close it.
Heated front seats are a good example of a feature that can be useful in the winter. The Corolla’s heated front seats will keep you warm on cold days, and they can also come in handy during the summer when temperatures are soaring.
If you live somewhere where it gets very hot during the summer months, then having this option available could make all the difference between being able to deal with heat exhaustion versus feeling miserable while trying not to melt into your seat belt.
