We don't know what tell you, folks, but things are just turning up Toyota these days. First it was the record sales numbers from 2012, then it was the news of our satisfied customers in Consumer Reports' 2013 Car Brand Perception Survey. We were almost tempted to start writing about our new and used cars again, but thanks to U.S. News, the awards just keep on coming.

Each year, the editorial staff at U.S. News gathers up 12 months of number crunching and test driving to give their readers their picks for the Best Cars for the Money Awards. Like the name implies, the awards are a celebration of the best automotive bangs for your buck across 21 different vehicle categories in respect to cars, SUVs, minivans, and trucks.

Last year, our favorite automaker nabbed a win in the Affordable Compact SUV with 3 Rows category thanks to the Toyota RAV4, plus the Compact Pickup Truck category thanks to the Toyota Tacoma. As for how Toyota fared this year, it was all about the trucks.

Not only did the 2013 Toyota Tundra pick up a win for Best Full Size Pickup Truck for the Money, but the 2013 Tacoma won its second straight win as the Best Compact Pickup Truck for the money.

"Compact pickup trucks are a vanishing breed, but reviewers love how practical and comfortable the 2013 Toyota Tacoma is," says the U.S. News editorial staff. And as for the Tundra, "The 2013 Toyota Tundra doesn't have the highest towing or hauling capacity in its class, but it does have the best combination of low ownership costs and critical acclaim, making it the Best Full-Size Truck for the Money."1

Like we said, Toyota's on a roll, and we can't say we're all that surprised about it either. So if you're itching to test drive one of these award-winning beauties for yourself, then fill that void in your life by visiting us down here at 1765 Park Avenue in Plover, WI 54467 today. All these trophies must count for something.
